OHC&AT’s team of professional practitioners provide comprehensive advice, support and guidance with all aspects of standards and quality. Formal observations of learning and teaching

Analysis of data, trends, gaps
Progress and attainment/accreditation
Analysis of broader outcomes (e.g., destinations)
Work scrutiny and evidence base
Guidance on standardised assessment tools

Personal Development and Behaviour
Analysis of student attendance data and trends, including persistent absenteeism
Analysis of behaviour-related data and trends, including exclusions and physical interventions
Support with family engagement
Support with using wellbeing and other data and indices

Action Planning
Support and QA of improvement plans, including target-setting and success criteria

Leadership and Governance
Developing meaningful support and challenge through governance
Effective self-evaluation, including high-level risks management
Ensuring compliance, including website
Delivering high quality reports, including high-level data
Enabling high-quality stakeholder engagement
High level QA of curriculum provision
Support with performance management, including HT and senior leaders

CPD
Delivery of bespoke training sessions (up to ten, 2 x hours) on themes related to :

  • High quality teaching and learning
  • Progress, outcomes and assessment
  • Positive behaviour management and support
  • Specialist knowledge (eg, ASD)
  • Developing a clear vision and action planning
  • Good governance
